We work in Dickson and the communities around it: Burns and White Bluff just east along TN 47 and US 70, Charlotte and Cumberland Furnace to the north, Fairview and Kingston Springs toward Nashville along I-40, Ashland City on the Cumberland River, Centerville in the Duck River valley to the south and Waverly to the west in Humphreys County. Many homes in these towns sit on crawl spaces, and the hilly Highland Rim terrain means drainage around foundations varies a lot from lot to lot. Fairview and White Bluff have grown quickly with newer subdivisions; Charlotte, Centerville and Waverly have more older homes; rural lots everywhere have barns, shops and metal buildings.
